SNOW

Okay, so today I woke up to a whole bunch of snow. I can remember my first time going hunting. There was snow on the ground and it was nice out. But there was still leaves on the ground from fall so when you walked you could hear them under your feet. I wasn't actually hunting my dad was. I was 12 and we sat there for about3 hours and didn't see anything good. But since it was my first time it was nice being out there with my dad. I'm a big daddy's girl. He is amazing. I know when I get older and I have kids I'm going to teach them to hunt just like my dad tries to teach me. The snow looks so beautiful today laying on the ground and on the trees. I Love Snow.

Ok so I got my schedule for the days I work for the big man. Im kinda really excited about it. Ill tell you more in another blog about when I work. Ill keep you posted. But Santa is excited to get started.

The point of my Christmas

The point of my Christmas is to spend time with my family. On Christmas Eve I go to my church. Then after that I go to my great aunts. Santa Claus comes there to hand out presents to my little cousins. They are always really happy to get presents. That night when we get home my mom always has one present for each of us. Which is our Christmas Pajamas. We do this every year it is a tradition I guess. When one of us wakes up in the morning we go and wake everyone else up. Which my dad wakes us all up with his loud mouth haha. But after we open our presents we stack them neatly by the wall so when people come to our house the can see what we got. After that we get cleaned up and go to the truck stop for breakfast. Which my nana, pap, gram, step pap, mom and dad go. Its actually really nice. Then that day we go to dinner at my grams house and open presents there too. But the point of my Christmas isn't the presents its the people I get to spend it with. I Love My Family.

Santa Claus

Well what do people say about Santa except for he is a man in a red suit that makes little kids happy. It is Santa's job to be there for the little kids and give them presents. When kids find out about Santa they or either excited to see him or scared out of there minds. If I was still little I'm sure I would be scared to but working for Santa has changed my thoughts of him. He is more than a man in a red suit that makes little kids happy. He is Santa Claus then one watching over you to see when you are good or bad. The one who puts the presents under your tree. The one who makes a little kid happy for Christmas. You might not believe in Santa but little kids do and the last thing you want to do is ruin their childhood.

Working for Santa

So working for Santa every December is actually pretty fun. I get to work in a little hut in downtown Lock Haven. It is always a little cold in there but we survive. The little kids that come in are so cute but some of them hate Santa. The Elves try to keep kids calm and try to talk them into sitting on Santa's lap. This Christmas we have to go to the hut and help little kids again. I get to be in the parade with Santa which is actually really nice. I have about 6 private parties to do this year. But I'm kinda glad about it because I like seeing little kids light up when they see Santa. I go to this house every year for the same party and its nice to see the kids that i saw last year. It is good to see how much they have grown and to see that they still believe in Santa. I feel like this year is going to be even better than last year. I'm so excited to be an elf again this year. Santa Is Always Real In The Eyes of Little Kids. So have a great Christmas this year and remember Santa is watching you =]
